New mini palette for Spring from Wander Beauty

New at Sephora for spring is a cute six pan palette from Wander Beauty.

Available now for $25, I think this is a really cute companion mini, perfect for this time of year. The only thing it’s missing is a mid-toned shade for the crease, and it’d be a really great everyday palette.

Personally, I will be skipping this one because I already have all of these colors in my collection, both as a part of other palettes and as single shadows. Since I would still want to bring in other shades, grabbing this palette wouldn’t be beneficial to me.

What your your thoughts on this one? An essential for spring, or are the shades too common?

Beach-friendly travel set from Too Faced

New from Too Faced, and available now is a super cute travel set perfect for the summer. The set comes with the waterproof Better Tham Sex mascara and a bronzer.

I think this is a perfect option to throw in your makeup bag, whether it’s for everyday or travel. If you’re in a rush or for a more natural look, bronzer is a perfect multi-use product. You can dust it on the perimeter of your face over a CC or BB cream and then sweep it across the lids for a quick wash of color. Add a little mascara, and it’s a look.

What are you thoughts on this one? I currently am trying to pare down my collection, but is this something that you guys would go for?

Why does Natasha Denona keep doing this to me?!

I keep saying I’m not buying another palette from this brand, and I keep getting sucked back in. Help me!!!!

Natasha Denona is releasing the perfect everyday neutrals palette and I am feeling like I reallllly want to buy it.

Honestly, this is my perfect go to palette. It has the perfect three shimmers and tons of mattes of differing tones. It will be the usual $129 that all 15-pan ND palettes cost, and will be a permanent part of her line up starting 3/15 when it drops online and in-store at Sephora.

Someone convince me not to put this on my purchase list. Please and thank you.

OleHenriksen is joining the makeup arena?!

OleHenriksen is adding another item to its popular Banana Bright line, but this time is not exactly skincare. It’s a primer.

First released yesterday on the Sephora app as an early-access exclusive, this primer is the sister product to the Banana Bright eye cream (which was in my Best of 2018 countdown and a Face Friday because I love it so much). Its ingredients include Vitamin C to reduce signs of aging over time, Vitamin E to nourish the skin, and banana powder-inspired pigments to instantly brighten the appearance of your skin.

The primer is said to be for all skin types and can be worn under makeup, alone, and used as a highlighter. It’s also supposed to smooth out the skin. The fact that you can use it as a highlighter makes it clear that it’ll give a dewy finish.

I’m not sure if I will buy this primer, but I certainly want to give it a try. I will wait to see if it comes to stores next month so I can sample it. If not, I may bite the bullet since I love the Banana Bright Crème so much. I’ve been super into dewy skin lately, and this really seems to fit my current preferences. Plus it seems like a skincare/makeup hybrid which I love even more.

What are your thoughts? Have you tried the eye Crème? Would you trust a skincare-only brand with a makeup product? Let’s chat!

New products coming from Marc Jacobs Beauty this spring and I CANNOT wait!

This morning, I saw on the Trend Mood Instagram page that Marc Jacobs Beauty is planning on launch two brand new products in Sephora this spring.

The first one is a stick concealer. At the moment, I cannot think of any other brand, drugstore or high-end that has a concealer in stock form. It’s such a smart idea that I can’t believe it hasn’t been done. That alone has me wanting to try it.

The Marc Jacobs Beauty concealer will be for sale starting on March 18th for Sephora VIB members, and the 21st for everyone else. It will be available in 17 shades and will retail for $32 each (😫).

The other product the brand will be releasing is their Instant Blurring Beauty Powder. That won’t be available until April 23rd for VIB members and May 3rd for everyone else. This Pressed Powder is supposed to blur the skin while adding glow, but also reducing shine from excess oil.

The cool part about the powder, besides formula is the packaging. Each of the four shades will come with a magnetic brush that slides into the top of the powder for convenience. Despite the high price of $49 each, I am definitely going to be grabbing this product also.

What do you guys think about these upcoming releases? Can you believe stick concealer hasn’t been done? Let’s chat in the comments below!

A new mini face palette at Sephora? I’m in!

The Kat Von D Shade + Light face palettes are one of the top selling in their category at Sephora. However, as with lots of multi-pan palettes, many people tend to only use a few of the shades. So, to help us out, KVD has released the new Shade + Light Contour Duo.

Available in 3 shades [Light, Medium (shown here), and Deep], for $23 each, these minis are the perfect solution for anyone who isn’t interested in an entire palette for day-to-day use or who wants a great travel option.

I think I’m going to grab this palette. I’m currently trying to use up my Sephora Collection contour palette in my project pan, but I need to find a good cruelty-free option to replace it. I do like that the Sephora palette has six shades and I do use them all, but realistically, I’d be happy with just two. Plus, I’ve been really into minis lately.

Have you guys tried any Kat Von D face products? Would you prefer a face duo or an entire face palette? Let’s chat!

A paint-on highlighting balm with ruby powder? 🤔

Kaja, the Korean brand known for cute & easy-to-apply products, has just released their new roll-on highlighter in Sephora.

The Roller Glow Roll-on Highlighting Balm comes in one universally flattering (per the brand) shade and costs $28. This highlighter is a pink pearlescent balm with golden undertones and is infused with ruby powder. (Oh we fancy 😎)

The balm is said to melt into the skin for a “soft focus glow”….but also the light reflecting pigments will give a disco glow… (not sure how those work together). Kaja says that the roller applicator is there to make sure you get an even application ever time. And your purchase comes with an additional roller.

I’m not sure what to think about this product. It feel very much like a gimmick. Paint roller aside, I am interested in the highlighting balm itself, but would want to test it in store first to make sure it is not glittery. They had me at soft glow, but threw me with disco… I’ve been really into cream products recently, and Kaja is on my list of brands that I want to try in 2019. Depending on the swatch test, this could be a good place to start.

What do you guys think? Is the roller just too much for you? Have you tried anything from Kaja? Let’s chat!
