Juvia’s Place The Warrior | Swatch Stories #3

A new palette every month. New look inspo every week.

As a true makeup junkie, it is very easy to neglect makeup that I already own in favor of what’s new. This year, to get more use from my existing collection, I have decided to start a new series: Swatch Stories. Using one palette per month, I will do weekly posts of a different color combination.

This month’s palette is The Warrior by Juvia’s Place. I chose this palette because it is easy to underestimate the versatility of a neutral palette.

Top to Bottom (L-R): Moremi, Idia, Kano, Amina

I love a light, bright look for everyday, especially when I’m heading into the office for meeting. What’s your go-to makeup look for work? Let’s chat in the comments below.

Weekly Makeup Inspiration #3

Here are the makeup items in my collection that I pulled out the last week of summer because I felt inspired to create with & use them. I apologize for posting this so late. I thought I had scheduled it but alas…

I mostly base my section on what inspires me, but also realistically looking at my calendar and seeing what will work with my schedule for that week.

Surprisingly, of all of the eye products, the one I was most excited to use (not counting the new Safari palette), was the only one I did not touch– the Kat Von D Shade + Light Glimmer Eye Contour Palette. I will have to take note of whether I reach for this palette over the next few months. If not, I will probably declutter it.

Another product that I was surprised by was my Wander Beauty Unlashed mascara. I thought I really liked this mascara, but every time I used it, I found myself topping it with the Butter London.

Now that it is officially fall, all of my more bright lippies have been tucked away, and I am excited to start creating more vampy looks.

Thanks for reading
