Looking at back at 2018, I feel like I played it way too safe with my makeup purchases. There were so many interesting products that I wanted to try but didn’t because I decided, instead, to stick with the same brands and basic products that I always got. That made for a somewhat boring collection, where I was rotating product just for the sake of using them, but all of the products were more or less the same.
This year, I am determined to add some diversity to my collection by trying some new brands, or products thatI had been eyeing but passed up for something safe. As I mentioned earlier this month in one of Morning Makeup Musing posts, I really want to make sure that I am trying lots more indie brands this year. I will leave some space for new products from favorite brands, but I plan on trying at least ten indie brands this year, which I feel is a lot. Including the ten indie brands, every month, I am going to make sure that I include at least one brand that I’ve never tried in my monthly purchases.
Here are a few cruelty-free brands that I want to try in 2019:
- Juvia’s Place
- Beauty Bakerie
- Fancy Beauty Cosmetics
- Chaos Cosmetics
- Melt Cosmetics
- Sydney Grace Co.
- Makeup Geek Cosmetics
- Lush Cosmetics
- Dominique Cosmetics
Do you guys have any brands that you are interested in trying for 2019?
