Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance| Swatch Stories #1

A different palette every month. A new color combo every week.

As a true makeup junkie, it is very easy to neglect makeup that I already own in favor of what’s new. This year, to make sure I use what I have and discover new ways to use old favorites, I have decided to start a new series: Swatch Stories. Using one palette per month, I will do weekly posts of a different color combination. This idea is inspired by the color combinations posted on Instagram by @temptalia.

To kick off the series I wanted to use a palette I have completely changed my mind about.  As mentioned in my Don’t Fall into the Trap post, I seriously regretted buying the ABH Modern Renaissance palette. However, towards the end of 2018, I decided to give it another shot. I’m so glad I did, because this palette has become my everyday go-to choice.

The first combination I am featuring is my usual look that I do when I don’t want to have to think about it.

Colors used (L-R): Red Ochre, Antique Bronze, Warm Taupe, Vermeer

  1. This is my favourite palette!! I love blending buon fresco with warm taupe and a little bit of love letter to give a muted mauve colour! Absolutely adore this palette, it’s my go-to x
