Best of Beauty 2018: Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation

2018 was the year of great beauty discoveries for me. So instead of just doing the top 18 of 2018, I’m using the entire month of December to give you the deets on all of my favorite cruelty-free beauty products that I picked up this year. From makeup to personal care, I’ve got you! One product for each day

Welcome (or welcome back) to my Best of Beauty MONTH-LONG countdown! Every day of this month, I will be doing reviews on 31 of my favorite beauty products that I tried in 2018.

Today begins the Four Days of Foundation. Starting of with the a foundation that really surprised me at how much I ended up loving it, let’s talk about the Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation.

Powder foundation is my go to during the summer. I don’t have to worry about liquid foundation melting off of my oily skin in the heat and humidity. This foundation stands out because unlike a lot of other foundations, it doesn’t leave my skin looking flat. Instead, it just evens out the tone with a light to medium coverage.

Without having to add additional powder, my face would stay pretty matte all day. As the days wore on, instead of separating and breaking up like a liquid foundation would sometimes do, the powder would just melt into the skin, keeping the coverage but giving my skin a nice glow.

I’ve even worn it in cooler weather (over a little extra facial oil to keep my skin from looking dry) when I just wanted a super quick, light coverage look. If you are looking for a lightweight powder foundation that color corrects and brightens the skin, this one is a great option. ✨

What are your favorite powder foundations? Let’s chat!
