Beauty Morning Makeup Musings New Releases Skincare

Morning Makeup Musings #34

Quick chat about a new beauty release over my morning coffee. Today we discuss one of the brand new releases from Tarte...and it isn’t an eyeshadow palette.

Good morning!

I saw some really interesting news over on Trendmood1’s Instagram. Tarte just released a ton of new products, including the Rainforest of the Sea Seaglass eyeshadows ($22 each).

I did head over to the Tarte website, and the photos there really drew me in. The jewel-tones colors are perfect for this time of year, and I could see myself wearing a several of the colors including Golden Hour and Una Noche– neither of which I have in my current liquid eyeshadow collection.

Here are a few of the pictures they had on the site that caught my attention:

I think I may try to grab one or two of these shades if they come to Ulta or Sephora. I love liquid shadows. They make for super easy eye looks that also have more dimension than powder shadows tend to be able to give.

Would you guys give these shadows a shot, or does Stila own the market on this? Are you interested in any of the other new releases from Tarte?

Let’s chat!

  2. I feel like liquid eyeshadows would be too much for my already oily lids…I’m too afraid to try it!

    • Maybe try them out over eyeshadow. This way you’ll already have your primer down. So far, the ones I’ve tried seem to work that way (or just directly on the primer without setting).
