Best of Beauty 2018: Laura Geller The Weekender Face, Eye and Cheek Palette

2018 was the year of great beauty discoveries for me. So instead of just doing the top 18 of 2018, I’m using the entire month of December to give you the deets on all of my favorite cruelty-free beauty products. From makeup to personal care, I’ve got you! One product for each day of the month!

Hi guys!

Welcome (or welcome back) to my Best of Beauty MONTH-LONG countdown! Every day of this month, I will be doing reviews on 31 of my favorite beauty products that I tried in 2018.

Since I recently did a review of this set, I won’t go into a ton of details on it.  You can read the full review here

Instead here is a quick summary of why I love this set:

The set includes three palettes each having four eyeshadows, a blush and a highlighter. Each palette is named for a different day of the weekend, and has a different color story.  I love these because they are super simple. You honestly don’t even need to think about what you are doing to use them and look great. Besides the ease of use, the quality of all three products (shadow, blush, highlighter) is super high and will last all day.

I keep one of these in my purse in case I need to fix or redo my makeup on the go. It is compact, has almost a full face of products, and I know I can trust it to hold up. They are also perfect for travel because you can take all three, have a variety of look options, and not have to take up a ton of room for multiple products.

I will be honest, these swatches do not do these products justice. 😔 For some reason, no matter what light I was in, they just were not picking up well on camera. I still wanted to include them since I did not have them in the holiday review so you could get an idea of how they look on skin. Trust me… these are fantastic.

Flirty Friday: Soft pinks with a beautiful wine. 3 shimmers and one matte shadow. A gorgeous peachy blush and a cinnamon/gold highlighter. I love this palette for everyday.
Saturday Style: Cream and navy matte shadows. A soft gray and lavender satin shadows. A bright pink blush and champagne highlighter.
Sunday Funday: Mid-tone and chocolate brown matte shadows. A metallic bronze and a shimmering champagne shadow. A perfect apricot blush and highlighter very similar (but VERY slightly more golden) than Becca’s Opal. This is my favorite palette. It is perfect for any occasion, and would flatter everyone.

So, what do you guys think? Do you have an all-in-one palettes that you absolutely love?

Let’s chat!
