Beauty Makeup Morning Makeup Musings New Releases

Morning Makeup Musing #9

Quick chat about a new makeup release over my morning coffee.

Good morning!

I had a meeting bright and early this morning. I learned from yesterday and decided to just work from home 😬. That being said, I’m currently in between meetings and wanted to take a minute to see what’s new in the beauty world.

So, Farsali is releasing a new product: the Make-Skin Radiance Serum. This is the picture they posted of it on IG:

The serum contains hyaluronic acid along with some natural fruit extracts and is supposed to hydrate and plump the skin to give the glass skin look.

I have never tried any of Farsali’s products. I’ve also considered them a trendy IG brand more than a skincare brand. I’ve recently changed my mind on that, though, because I realize that these days, most brands (including established ones) advertise on IG, and just because it is trendy does not mean it is ineffective or not a quality product.

My thoughts about this one specifically- I am pretty sure I’ll be passing on this one. I have an Ole Henriksen serum that has the micro glitter that this Farsali serum seems to have and I hate it. I prefer my skincare to not have glitter (note that you can’t see the glitter on the skin since it’s so fine, I just hate extra ingredients like that in skincare). I do want to try their Skin-Tune primer serum though. I’d feel more comfortable using that as a primer after I do my regular skincare routine, and any added benefits can sink in that way.

Have any of you guys tried any Farsali products? Do you love them? Let’s chat!
