Holiday Review: Laura Geller, The Weekender palettes

The first update from my Holiday Haul is a great one. Check out my review on why this will make a great gift or addition to your makeup collection.

Hi guys!

Up first for review from my Holiday Set Haul is the Laura Geller, The Weekender Face, Eye & Cheek palettes, available as a set of three for $27 at Ulta.

The Weekender set contains three palettes each containing four eyeshadows, one blush and one highlighter. Each palette has a color story named after each day of the weekend (beginning with Friday).

From Ulta:

  • Flirty Friday: It’s Fri-nally Friday! Fun and flirty, you’re up for anything on a Friday, carefree hair and luminous makeup create a laid back vibe.
  • Saturday Style: Fashion is your passion and Saturday is all about bringing the runway to the real-way.
  • Sunday Funday: Get the girls together and pour yourself a mimosa for Sunday Funday! This palette is all about the ease and excitement that Sunday has to offer.

I REALLY love and highly recommend these palettes. They have become my go-to items for quick, everyday makeup looks that I know are cohesive and pretty, and will last all day. I was already fan of Laura Geller. Her Baked and Brighten foundation is the only powder foundation I think I’ll ever buy again (I already have backups). This set just solidifies my love of her products.

All three of the products (shadows, blush and highlighter) last all day, ESPECIALLY the highlighters–which is kinda rare. I feel like highlighters are usually the first makeup product to fade away. Each palette creates its own unique, and complete look that can work on a wide range of skin tones. My favorite item in the palettes are the highlighters because they give a gorgeous, natural-looking but also intense glow to the face–no glitter at all. The blushes are beautiful and blend incredibly easily. The eyeshadows are all really easy to use and last all day. I have used only the shadows in the palettes as well as with matte shades from other palettes. In both case I was happy with my looks.

I 100% think this holiday set is worth the $27 for all three palettes. I was (maybe stupidly 😅) ready to pay $27 for just one. So, under $30 for all three is really a great deal. I think makeup lovers and newbies, alike, will both be happy to have this set. It’s perfect for everyday looks or to take in travel or gym bags, and awesome for people new to makeup who may need help putting full looks together. Definitely two thumbs up from me.👍🏾👍🏾
