As I mentioned in my Tips for Going Cruelty-Free post, you absolutely do not need to just start throwing away products in your collection because you decide to go cruelty-free. The way that I have chosen to handle it is to just use up what I have and replace those products with cruelty-free products in the future. In most cases, I already have cruelty-free alternatives because I like trying new makeup, but I still do not want to waste what I’ve already spent money on.
So, this will be a rolling project pan. Focusing on a few items at a time, I will be going through my collection panning the remaining non-cruelty-free items that I have. As I finish them, I will give some suggestions on cruelty-free alternatives.
Benefit Cosmetics Ka-Brow in #4This one is actually starting to dry out, so I will likely be done with this in a month or so.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Caramel
I just took the stopper out of this about two weeks ago. This should be gone before November (taking out the stopper gives access to so much more product)
(also) Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder in Translucent Extra Coverage
This powder is huge. I’ve been using it consistently since last winter. This will be in the project pan until at least January.
Once I have finished with these products, I will update you with their cruelty-free replacements.
Thanks for stopping by!
