Weekly Makeup Inspiration #2

Here are the makeup items in my collection that I pulled out last week because I felt inspired to create with & use them.

I mostly base my section on what inspires me, but also realistically looking at my calendar and seeing what will work with my schedule for that week.

L to R: Top E.L.F. Highlighting Holographic Duo in Siren’s Call, the Balm Take Home the Bronze Anti-Orange Bronzer in Graham E.; Center: ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in High Five; E.L.F. Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems, E.L.F. Blush palette in Deep
L to R: Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Glosses in Jawbreaker & Big Bang, Fenty Beauty Universal Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow, Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Metallic Rose, Essence Vibrant Shock Lip Paint in Twisted Sister, Smashbox Always on Metallic Matte in Crystal Baller
Palettes Top to Bottom: Morphe The Jacyln Hill Palette, Urban Decay Born to Run; Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Overdrive; ColourPop L to R: Super Shock Shadows in By My Side & Donna, Super Star Loose Pigment in Up Shot, Super Shock Shadows in Static & Moonwalk

I actually realized that I do not like the Jaclyn Hill palette. The shadows just do not last for me no matter how I prep my lids. I tried wearing it all day, and it lasted less than half a day. Then I tried wearing them out on a movie date, and they didn’t even last through that. So, I will be decluttering this palette.

My favorite item of all of these products that I found myself wearing the most was….nope not Born to Run, but the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Moonwalk. It looks lime green in the pot, but is a beautiful green-brown duochrome that makes for a perfect everyday, one swipe color across the lids. On medium-deep to deep skin, it can just look like a nice sheen from some angles, and a beautiful gold haze from other. I love this shadow. It may be one of my favorite singles in my collection.

I’m hoping to continue finding some more absolute favorites that I haven’t given a fair shot in these weekly rotations.

Thanks for stopping by!
